A Birthday Cake For My Mom

Day 160 (5th February)

It's my mom's birthday!! Happy birthday to her :)

I had to make a cake for her birthday. Since my lazy butt couldn't get up to make a cake yesterday, I had to make one today.

It took me so many hours to get this right! The design wasn't perfect because I'm still learning to decorate cakes. I took inspiration from April Baker's London's Instagram — they have some of the cutest cakes out there. I have to tell my brother to get a cake for me the next time he comes back home. A 'thank you for welcoming me back' cake?

The cake was vanilla flavoured. I used an eggless vanilla cake recipe.

For decorating, I used my favourite SMBC recipe.
