Brookies Aren't From Brooklyn

Day 317 (12th July)

I made these brookies in two batches. I overbaked the first batch so it was way too crispy for my liking. The second batch was AMAZING.

Unfortunately, my second batch consisted of only two cookies. Damn me for being greedy and making four in one go.

I've made cookies using this recipe before and they turned out amazing so I do believe that the problem was with overbaking. Oh well.

I'm thinking of making cookie brownies instead of brownie cookies in a few days. Apparently, brookies (cookie dough and brownies) originated in Los Angeles and were made by Jovon English (owner of milk + brookies). I feel like that would be a fun comparison to brookies! Stay tuned. :)
