Day 52 (20/10): Choux Pudding

Okay, I admit it. I failed to make choux.

I've been mesmerised by choux au craquelin ever since I heard of it. I mean, it is named choux au craquelin, so that's a big bonus.

But, unfortunately, my choux ended up collapsing in the oven. It came out looking like flattened cookies. I was not happy, especially since I spent an entire afternoon making them.

Even though my choux looked pathetic, it still tasted good! So, I made some diplomat cream to go with the choux. I alternated layers of choux and cream to make a sort of pudding. It ended up tasting DELICIOUS. Sometimes I surprise myself with my failed bakes.
