Jim-Jam Oats
Day 234 (20th April)

My, oh my, were these oats good! I got inspiration from some oats I saw on Instagram, but I changed up quite a few things to get it to taste better with the ingredients I had at home!
Here's the recipe for these strawberry-caramel oats:
Ingredients
1 cup of oats
1 tablespoon of caramel
1/2 cup of milk
A splash of vanilla
A spoonful of strawberry jam
3 teaspoons of chia seeds
Two Jim-Jams (for topping)
Instructions:
Combine the oats, caramel, milk, and vanilla in a bowl.
Add three-quarters of the batter to a greased ramekin.
Microwave the jam for thirty seconds — to make it more viscous (NOT hot).
Add three teaspoons of chia seeds to the jam.
Add the jam mixture on top of the batter in the ramekin.
Top with the remaining batter.
Add a Jim-Jam to the centre of the oats.
Add crumbled pieces of the second Jim-Jam on the sides.
Bake for 12 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius in a pre-heated oven.
