Day 103 (10/12): Scones

How do you pronounce scones? I say scones (yes, I know, very helpful). My brother calls them "skons."

Anyway, I was intrigued by this recipe because they used soda water (also known as carbonated water). I don't believe I've ever used that before in baked goods, so I wanted to give it a try.

And the verdict is that they were yum! They didn't lift as much in the oven, but I loved them because I made them, and they are my babies.

I filled them with cream cheese and jam and ate almost all of them. Do I regret that decision? Maybe a little.
